We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the community, performing various repair and maintenance tasks to ensure our residents enjoy a high-quality living experience.
Job Responsibilities:
General Property Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks around the community, including landscaping upkeep, cleaning common areas, and ensuring all public spaces are in good condition.
Building Maintenance: Assist with the upkeep of buildings, including light plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry. Address and repair issues as they arise to ensure the safety and comfort of residents.
Small Dock Repairs: Oversee the repair and maintenance of small docks, piers, or water-related structures within the community. This includes minor woodwork, painting, and other maintenance tasks.
Facilities Support: Assist in the setup and maintenance of community amenities, such as fitness centers, clubhouses, and recreational areas, ensuring they are fully operational and well-maintained.
Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of tools and equipment necessary for repairs and ensure that supplies are adequately stocked.
Vendor Coordination: Occasionally work with external contractors for larger repair projects and oversee their work to ensure it meets community standards.
Qualifications:
Skills: Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance skills. Familiarity with dock repair is a plus.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and repair abilities; capable of handling a wide range of maintenance tasks independently.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with board members & clerk.
Valid Driver’s License: Ability to travel within the community or between properties if necessary.
